Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

Event are building up again to levels experienced pre-pandemic and some make higher demands on technical support required along with higher personal requirements. Organisers of events are recognising the role we play in the execution of a safe event.

Contact with statutory responders has increased and an exercise was organised aimed at technical support for emergencies to the statutory responders. This is likely to be an annual event in conjunction with at least one emergency service. There are specific plans in place for different responses to emergencies and one of these involvers our members carrying out technical surveys at highlighted premises. We continue to keep available and maintain systems and equipment recorded in section C of this annual return.
