Grants
WWTSS/FAW
The existing grant from the FAW as part of the WWTSS had a balance of £1895.44. This left a small amount that was covered from the clubs accounts of £17.17

Projects
WAPM/The Land
The club ran a 12 week trial for free after Covid-19 restrictions ended in wales. The sessions was undertaken on the Plas madoc estate which is where the club calls home. This 12 week trial of outdoor street football session’s where so successful the club were asked to expand on the project and deliver it on a bigger scale.
For this the club where awarded £3,000 to run the project for 48 weeks of the year indoors at the centre. Numbers have been so strong with the club averaging 25 to 30 players every week with it having a very positive effect on the estate and more so it is making a real difference to the young people's lives and behaviours.

General Manager Comments
What an amazing return to football we have seen since we returned to sport in May 2021.
When we started back about what had been a very messy return to sport, with a brief period outdoors at Grango, a return to indoor football at our permanent home at Plas Madoc Leisure Centre was exactly what we needed and of course wanted.
The club acted incredibly in the face of adversity throughout with Covid protocol levels being some of the highest I've seen during this very trying time.
A fear around low numbers and nerves around the topic of whether we would or even could return to the highs we had previously reached felt very real in the first 4 weeks as our previous average of 100 service users each week was halved to 50 people.
These numbers crept up and crept up and at the turn of the year we were hitting new highs of near 120 per week, but I'll explain this a little bit more as we go on
As a voluntary club our biggest issue is always coach retention. We invest strongly in our coaches and very late in the year we applied for a £2,000 grant to support young coaches aged 16 to 24 years old to enter further sporting education. if successful this will help our current crop of young coaches gain valuable qualifications that they can take into their own working lives to secure employment and future careers
We currently have 10 volunteers who offer their love passion dedication energy effort and resource to us free of charge - this is incredible and can’t be met anywhere else in Wales within social inclusion football
Our youngest volunteer currently is our admin trainee who joined us last year at Grango and is a 15 year old female who is growing in strength and confidence every week with support from the club
A 12 week trial of outdoor street football session’s with the support of we are plas madoc was so
12 WEEK OUTDOOR SESSION
successful that we gained £3,000 to run it for 48 weeks of the year indoors at the centre. Numbers have been so strong with us averaging 25 to 30 players every week - and more so it is making a real difference to the young people's lives and behaviours.
We have taken the decision to run a small 3 day trip to Scotland in June 2022. It is a part of a 2 day football festival. We are staying at Stirling University. The players also will enjoy a stadium tour of Celtic Park whilst on the trip. The trip currently boasts 37 players staff and coaches on the trip.
Plans for 2022 are huge - and in all reality we 49 Plas Isaf, Rhosymedre, Wrexham LL14 3EW Registered Charity Number:1177896

feel very blessed to be in such a strong position as a club moving forward.
Plans for 2022 is to get a minimum of 4 coaches onto their c license pathway in football through the FAW, to purchase technology to support players who may need this to access cv building, applying for jobs etc and to further grow our volunteer programme.
Lastly, but never least our annual WIFC tournament with take place on Sunday May 29th 2022 at the home of The New Saints FC in Oswestry. We are completely sold out from out last competition too so couldn't even offer applications to any new or additional teams.
I'd like to take the time to thank our trusted board and volunteers for their continuous efforts to grow and develop our projects with such profession's on and off the field of play. Its been a long road through the covid-19 pandemic and their support means more than ever.
It truly is remarkable work we are doing and we are the leading brand in Wales at what we do and what we deliver -- and this should be celebrated.
Thanks to all
Football Manager’s Comments
A very tough year with Covid-19 restrictions effecting all our planning significantly
Unfortunately we lost a-lot of Coaches and Service users as their lives dictated for various reasons including finishing education and moving to University, leaving the care system and more positively people getting jobs, which was a slight positive as we contributed massively in 10 coaches getting paid work in various industries through our in house training programme.
Virtually every tournament that we were booked into got cancelled and the year seen us only play a minimal number of competitive games. We had a miniature tournament with Leek Town and Bootle
WIFC IN ACTION AT SHREWSBURY TOWN
Bucks at TNS and a short trip to shrewsbury town followed, both with successful results for Wrexham Inclusion Football Club.
The effects of the covid-19 pandemic effected peoples mental health although someone from within the club was always at the end of the phone it was a struggle and many Service users massively struggled without structure, face to face contact and an outlet to let steam off.
But, looking to 2022 we remain positive, despite the horrors of covid we have come through it strong and we still have a massive need to be here. Our plans for 2022 are already a huge improvement on 2021 and we look forward to hopefully more success in the near future.
