PATV CHAIR’S ANNUAL REPORT
During the period of this report (April 2020 to 31[st] March 2021), PATV were unable to hold the normal new and regular follow on classes due to COVID restrictions.
A few follow on classes were held in August, September and October and we endeavored to keep in touch with a core of participants via enhancements made to the website. Sadly, one of our regular participants died from COVID in January 2021.
Our income and expenditure have been virtually static due to inactivity, but a grant has been applied for from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight COVID relief fund. We await to here whether we have been granted this for the 2021 to 2022 financial year.
We are hoping to recommence new participant sessions in September 2021 and we have contacted local GPs to inform them that we will be “open for business”. Contact has also been made with local social prescribers for patient referrals.
