In concert with various agencies, the Trust is

river banks.
Innovative educational presentations are
made to schools , groups and the wider
population.
Water quality and sampling checks at many
sites are being introduced, with increasing
volunteer participation. Results are reported
centrally as part of a national citizen science

Respectsve responsibiltties of trustees and examiner The chartys trustees are responsible for preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider ihat an audit is not required for this year under section 144{21 of the Charitses Act 2011 (the 2011 Ad) and that an indeFendeTrt examination is needed. It is my resF)onsibilty to.. examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act.. to follow Ihe procedures laid down in the general Directions gtven by the Charty Commission under section 145(5){b) of the 2011 Act, and to state whether particular matters have come lo my attenkn'on. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity arKI a comparison of the accounts presented W￿h those records.
