The Trust is active on the Southern Branch of the River Wey (and tributaries) in Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex, from its source to its confluence with the Northern Wey at Tilford.It carries out conservation work, education and interpretation, covering the ecology, archaeology and history, landscape and the quality of the river itself.

Objects: (1) Preserve Enhance Conserve Restore And Promote The Man-Made And Natural Features Of The Southern Branch Of The River Wey Its Tributaries And Valley Relevant To Their Archaeological Social And Economic History Geology And Ecology.(2) To Stimulate Interest Research And Appreciation Of The River Wey(3) To Carry Out Research Relating To The River Wey And Publish The Results Thereof(4) To Promote Create And Construct Public Access To The River Wey All For The Education And Benefit Of The Public
