repair to the boiler. •Nut and Bolt restoration of a rare 1930’s Ingersoll Rand mobile compressor, now on display. •Restoration of a 1950’s Leeds built Mclaren-Brush generator set, now on display. •Nut and Bolt restoration of a 1950’s Renault tractor, yet to go on display. We continue to refine how our exhibits are displayed and grouped, either by age or by activity. The data base of our exhibits is now quite comprehensive, including anecdotes and provenance, as well as technical information. As in 2020, it had been hoped to increase public viewing of recently completed restorations and the general displays. The Covid 19 Pandemic restrictions for Museums were lifted in April 2021, but the insecurity that remained resulted in minimal visitor numbers during our 2021 season. The trustees remain aware of their obligations toward public benefit, as set out in guidance documentsPB1, PB2 and PB3. We continue to improve our offer and hope to attract a wider audience through Social media. . |
| Additional details of objectives and activities (Optional information) | |
| Youmay chooseto include further statements, where relevant, about: •policy on grantmaking; •policy programme related investment; •contribution made by volunteers. |
As in previous years, the efforts of the trustees has been supported by dedicated volunteers assisting not only in restorations but also in organising the layout of our displays. We submitted a planning application to enlarge our premises in April 2021, but the planning authority had not determined the application within this reporting period. |
Section D Achievements and performance Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, visitor numbers were minimal. Summary of the main achievements of the charity 2019/2020 was a successful year for the restoration team, with several during the year projects completed and new ones begun. We participated in the WWII Victory show at Cosby in Leicestershire in September 2021, taking the tank transporter to support the event. All costs being covered by sponsorship.

Section F Other optional information
This has been another difficult year on the visitor front with Covid 19 never far from people’s thoughts. Certainty has been in short supply but the Trustees look to the future and the opportunities that will arise to
encourage healthy visitor numbers. Allowing the old to reminisce and the young to be amazed at what we have to offer.
Despite the Pandemic and low visitor numbers our financial position remains healthy.
