Chairman’s Report
Again due to the pandemic it has been agreed by the Trustees that this statement covers the main activities of the group for this past year. Unfortunately we have not held any fund raising events or planting which we would normally involve children, due to the pandemic.
Our objections are to maintain the Park to our best abilities with the volunteers we have available. This involved removal of various types of weeds from various areas in the Park. Dead heading and pruning the various flowers and shrubs. We have planted various bulbs, shrubs and trees which have been donated to us.
The Fairy Garden has again been very popular with the young children and their parents. The Friends have again maintained this area.
The Park was again awarded the Green Flag status; this is partly reflected by the work done by the Friends.
Treasurer’s Report
Our bank balance has again remained the same as nothing has been purchased this financial year.
