We added new specialist bike5 to ourfleet. including power a5515ted trikes and mountain e-bikes.
Our extensive specialistfleet of cycles, many of which are power assisted, enable PEDALL to support people with a more diverse
range of visible and hidden disabilities.
In addition to our inclusive rides, we worked with local schools and colleges in 2025 to support students with Special
Educational Needs. offering work experience and delivering a bicycle skills course, running oversix weeks.
PEDALL proudly worked with over40 organisations in 2025 includingschools, colleges, charities and residential care providers,
daycare service5, further extending ourcommunity network throughout the New Forest and surrounding areas.
Wewere delighted to welcometwo new team members to Pedall, whojoined our'supported pathway, program, providing
p3rt-time employment to peoplewith lived experience. This program aimsto increase confidence, skills and employability and
give people with'lived experience, the opportunity to steer and develop our project.
We attended the New Forest Show in July, where we facilitated over780 rides on a short forest track expandingour community
awareness and fundraising lorthe project.
We also held a fundraising, celebratory event, Passthe Pedall, in September, duringwhich we cycled a collective distsnce of
Lands End to John O'Groats, 31ongside ourvolunteers 8nd regular riders to raise money and drive 8w3reness.
The event was well attended, successfully met our targets. including £10,000 fundraising target and trulycaptured the spiritol
PEDALL and our community of supporters. We look forward to Pass the Ped3112026.
Friend5 of PEDALL'5 Strategic plan sets out the charity's n115sion and agenda fordelivery. in partnership with the New Forest
National Park Authority, over five years from 2024 to 2028. This plan confirms thatthe charitywill deliver against three
prioritised areas of work.. fundraising,. achieving resilience and sustainability. and practical project support. Fundraising presents
a particularfocus. as the Ped311 project re-balances its fundraising over the plan period from predominantly National Lottery
Cornmunity Fund supportto a range of other source5. while Seeking to raise more than £150,000 by end of 2028.
During 2025 the charity also made good progress on its ambition to improve its resiliellce and sustainability and to bolster its
5ki115 base by appointing one additional trustee who is keen to 5UPPOrt our local cornmunityfundraising.

Financial Review
Financial Position
The charity made a surplu5 01 £45,869 during the financial year. Along with previousyears, 5urpluse5 we now have £16,917 in
Restricted Funds and £136,610 in unrestricted funds. 90% of these unrestricted funds are committed to support the future
operatingcosts of the PEDALL Project over the remaining period 2026-2028 ofthe five-year grant award from N3tion31 Lottery
Community Fund which cornrnenced in early 2024.
This is in line with our rese￿e5 policy below.
Policyon Resetves
The trustees have reviewed the future direct liabilities olthe charity and concluded that there is no need to hold any formal
reserves. However, 90% of any unrestricted funds held will be design3ted as future PEDALL Project operating costs to provide
the match funding required by the National Lottery Community Fund grant.
Going Contem
There are no funds materially in deficit.
Risks
The main risks to the charity have been partially mitigated by the successful recruitment of new trustees and obtainingthe five
year matched funding agreement from the National Lottery IFebruary 2024- February 20291. However, for the project to be
Sustainable over that period Friends ol PEDALL will need to raise significant grantsto match the Lottery funding and will
prioritise new Strategic revenue funding partners to replace Lottery Community Funding a5 the current grant ends in February
2029.
