Its main aims<br>are :<br>–to teach the word of God ; to introduce<br>people to the love of God shown through<br>Jesus Christ,<br>to encourage those who already know God's<br>love to keep trusting in that, and to<br>demonstrate God's love in practical acts of<br>kindness.<br>The trustees have given the following<br>description of the church's activities carried<br>out to achieve this purpose:<br>Sunday.     10am The Lords Supper ; 11 am<br>Morning Worship;11.30 am Sunday school;<br>6.00pm Evening Service.<br>Tuesday.  10.30am-3.30pm Bookshop open<br>Wednesday : 7.30pm. Prayer/Bible Study<br>Thursday : 10.30am-3.30pm Bookshop open<br>Friday : 10.30am Friends and Neighbours<br>(Monthly)  Saturday:  10.30am-3.30pm<br>Bookshop open<br>In addition to the regular meetings the<br>church holds regular meetings in a number<br>of local Homes for the Elderly, in the form<br>of a 'Sunday Half-Hour'<br>Occasional : Christianity Explored Courses;<br>Events at the Town Hall; and Book & Crafts<br>stand at the Llangollen International Musical<br>Eisteddfd ; an Open-Air Carol Service in<br>December and various Youth Events<br>throughout the year.<br>**Covid 19 Restrictions**- Due to the effects<br>of the Covid 19 Pandemic all the above<br>activities were discontinued with the<br>exception of Morning Worship, the Evening<br>Service on Sunday and Wednesday Prayer/<br>Bible Study which continued via**Zoom**.<br>As restrictions eased, the Chapel was<br>reopened from July 2020 and has remained<br>open to date, with strict Covid compliance<br>resuming the Sunday and Wednesday<br>meetings. The Bookshop reopened on<br>Saturdays only, from January 9th Jan. 2021.|

## **Achievements and Performance**

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|We have been able to give financial support<br>to a Number of Christian charities during the<br>above period, despite the effect of the Covid<br>restrictions.<br>These include : -<br>**Barnabus Fund; Caring for Life;**<br>**Christian Institute; Evangelical**<br>**Movement of Wales; Open Air Mission;**<br>**Savannah Trust, and the Trinitarian Bible**<br>**Society.**<br>This remains an opportunity to be part of a<br>much larger work<br>**Homes for the Elderly - Covid**has<br>prevented us having any direct with the local<br>Care Homes. We have kept in touch with<br>them, providing Bibles and Magazine for a<br>couple of them.<br>**Youth Work, Sunday school**have been<br>discontinued during this period. The**Chapel**<br>**Shop**has remained closed throughout 2020<br>except for 2 Saturdays prior to Christmas.<br>**Llangollen International Music Festival  -**<br>This was unable to take place in 2020 due to<br>Covid restrictions, which also prevented our<br>associated activity.|

That<br>subsequently left him eligible to be<br>reappointed as a Trustee. Sadly, the same<br>week, Mr Douglas Alan Pearse was<br>unexpectedly taken ill and died. This has<br>truly been a traumatic time. This however<br>will explain the reorganisation of Trustees.|
