ended 31 March 2025.

The promotion of religious and racial harmny by working with, and bringing together, people of
different faiths, religions. beliets, and racial andlor ethnic origins wth a view to better understanding,
peaceful living and communal harmony amongst members of society irrespecb.ve of race, religion,

We provide education, inspiration and action to promote inter-religious harmony in our mulb'_faith
society. We are non-political and respeci all faiths and spiritual paths equally.
We demonstrate ways in which different faiths can and are WOTking together to promote interfaith
harmony. This includes presentations at schoo15, universrties, places of worship, prisons and private
homes

The charity continued at a steady level of income in the year under revlew albeit income was mc#Jest.
However it did still manage to make a donation of £478.
Structure, govem•n¢8 and management
Naturn of govemlng document
The charity commenced operabon in 2017 and was registered the Charity Commission as a
Charitable Incorporated Organisation on the 28th March 2018. The Charity was established under a
Constitubon and a full review of the objects of the Charity is underway. A written resolution to amend
the objects clause wa5 complete on 28 November 2025. This is currendy being finalized by the
Charty Commission.

Slatement of Trustees. Responsibilities
The Iruslees are responsible for preparing the trustees, report and the financial statements in
accordance wth the United Kingdom Accounting Stsndards (United lfj'ngdom Generally Accepted
Accounting Practice) and applicable law and regulations.
The law applicable to charities requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each finan￿al
year which give a true and fair view of the stale of affairs of the charity and of the incoming resource5
and applie2tion of resources of the charity for that period. In preparing these finanaal statements, the
trustees are required to..
select suitable accounting po]icies and then apply thern eon5iStendy',
observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP-
make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent.,
state whether applio4ble accounting standards have been followed, subject to any material
departures diselosed and explained in the financial statements,. and
prepare the financial slatements on the going concem basis unless it is inappropriate to presume
that the charity wll conb'nue in bu5ine5S.
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records that disclose wth reasonable
accuracy al any time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the financial
statements comply with the Charities Act 2011, the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations
2008. and the provisions of the constitution. The trustees are also responsible for safeguarding the
assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable Steps for the prevention and detection of fraud
and other irregularities.
The trustees are responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the corporate and financial
infomation included on the charitable company'5 web51te. Legislation goveming the preparation and
dissemination of financial statements may differ from legislatson in other jurisdictions.

statement of compliance
The financial ststements have been prepared in accoTdan* wth the second edition of the Charitie5
Statement of Recommended Practice issued in October 2019, the Financial Reporbng Standard
applicable in the United Kingdom and Republic of Irpland (FR8 1n?l anrl thp. fharitses Act 2011.
Basls of preparation
The Abraharnic Reunion (England) meets the definit￿On of a public benefit entity under FRS 102. The
accounts (financial 5tatemenlsl have been prepared under Ihe historical cost convention V￿th items
recognised at cost or transaction value unless otherwise staled in the relevont notelsl lo these
accounts.
Going concern
The trustees consider that there are no material uncertaints'es about the ¢harity's ability to continue as
a going concem.
Income and endovmients
Voluntary income including donations, gifts. legacie5 and grants that provide core funding or are of a
general natu￿ is recognised when Ihe charity has entitlement to the income, il Is Probable that the
income will be received and the amount can be measured %wth 5ufficien¥ reliability.
Donations and legacies
Oonatsons and legacies are recognised on a receivable basis when receipt is probable and the
amount C8n be reliably measured.
Expenditure
All expenditure is recognised once there is a legal or conslruclive obligation lo thal expenditure, it is
probable settlement is required and the amount can be measured reliably. All costs are allocated to
the applicable expenditure heading that aggregate similar costs lo that category. Where costs cannot
directly attributed lo particular headings they have been alIC￿ated on a basis consistent with the
use of reSoU￿s, central staff costs allocated on the basis of time spent, and depreciation
charges allocated on the portion of the asset's use. Other support costs are allocated based on the
spread of staff costs.
Charitable actlvities
Charitable expenditure comprises th05e costs incurred by the charity in the delivery of it5 activities
and services for its beneficianes. It includes both costs that can be allocated direclly to such activits'es
and those costs of an indirect nature necessary to support them.

Taxation
The charity is considered to pass the tests set out in Paragraph 1 S¢hedule 6 of the Finance Act 2010
and therefore it mee15 the definition of o Gh?ritable company for UK corporation lax purposes.
Accordingly. the charity is PQtenlially exempt from taxation in re5peGt of income or capital gains
received within categories covered by Chapter 3 Part 11 of the Corporation Tax Act 2010 or Section
256 of the Taxalion of Chargeable Gains Act 1992, to the extent that 5uGh inwme or gains are
applied exclusively to charitsble purposes.
Fund structure
Unreslricled income funds are general fijnds that are aVaila￿e for use al the Irustees discretion in
Jrtherance of the objectives of the charity.
Financial instruments
Classification
Financial assets and financial liabilitie5 are recognised when the Charity becomes a paty to the
contractual provisions of the instrument.
Financial liabilits'es and equity instruments are classified acGording to the substance of the Contractual
arrangements entered into. An equity instrument is any conlrad Ihat evidenGes a residual interest in
the assets of the charity after deducting dl of its liabilitie5.
Derivatlve financlal Instruments
The charity uses derivative financial instruments to redu￿ exposure to foreign exchange risk and
interest rale movements. The charity does not hold or issue derivative fin8n¢ial instrLbmÈnts for
speculative purposes.
Derivatives are initially recognised at fair value at the date a derivative contract is entered into and a
subsequenuy remeasured lo their fair value at eaGh reporting date. The resulting gain or loss is
recognised in statement of finanaal activities immediately unless the derivative is designated and
effective a5 a hedging instrument, in which event the timing of the recognition in statement of financial
activities depends on the nature of the hedge relationship.
