**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT:-1. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ABOUT: (I) NOTTINGHAM CASTLE, ITS OCCUPIERS, THE LEGEND OF ROBIN HOOD AND THEIR PLACE IN NOTTINGHAM’S AND GREAT BRITAIN’S HISTORY; (II) THE HISTORY, UTILISATION AND GEOLOGY OF THE CAVES AT NOTTINGHAM CASTLE AND NOTTINGHAM GENERALLY, INCLUDING THE IMPORTANCE OF THE CAVES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF NOTTINGHAM; AND (III) THE HISTORY OF THE WIDER CASTLE SITE INCLUDING BREWHOUSE YARD AND THOSE WHO LIVED OUTSIDE THE CASTLE WALLS. 2 TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN MUSEUM(S), ART GALLERY/GALLERIES AND COLLECTIONS OF ARTISTIC, HISTORIC, SCIENTIFIC AND CULTURAL INTEREST. 3 TO PRESERVE, RESTORE OR ENHANCE THE BUILDING KNOWN AS NOTTINGHAM CASTLE TOGETHER WITH ITS ANCILLARY BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) THE CAVES AND CURTILAGE AS A PLACE OF HISTORIC AND ARCHITECTURAL AND NATURAL BEAUTY.

**Activities:** To advance the education of the public about Nottingham Castle, its occupiers,the legend of Robin Hood and their place in Nottingham's and Great Britain's history, the history and geology of the caves of Nottingham Castle and Nottingham generally, establish and maintain a museum and preserve, restore or enhance the building known as Nottingham Castle, ancillary buildings and grounds
