Section C Objectives and activities
For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of stray dogs and cats in need of care and attention in England and Europe in particular by: a) Providing homes, care and treatment.

Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
During the year ended 31 March 2025 Lotus Stray Rescue has worked hard to achieve the following:

14 dogs rehomed in the UK
-
12 stray dogs newly rescued
Lotus have found it increasingly difficult to find suitable forever homes during this financial year, and we have worked with other rescues to find suitable homes, meaning adoption fees were not received by us for some dogs. Due to the lack of suitable adoption applications received our main focus was to provide for the dogs already in our care.
Fundraising income was generated via online auctions, raffles and other activities. We also held 4 stalls at community events throughout the year to promote the charity and provide educational information and leaflets relating to animal welfare.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity for the period ended 31 March 2025.
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011.
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
