I report on the accounts of the ch￿lty for the year cnded 31 st July 2022
Respective responsibilities of trustees and eraminer
The Charity's trustees are responsible for the PTeparation of the accounts. The Charity's
trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under scction 144 of the Clwities
Act 2011 and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:
(i) Examine the accounts undcr section 145 of the 2011 ACL"
(2) To follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity
Commission under the section 145(5) (b) of the 2011 Act" and

Basis of independent examiner's report
My examillation was &qrried out in accordance with the general Di￿CtionS given by the
Clwity Con]missioTh An examinatson includcs a review of.the accounting records kept by the
Charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes
consideration of any unusual items or disclosurcs in the accounts and seeking explanations
from you agtn￿teeS concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide
all the evidence that would be required in an audiL and consequently I do not express an audit
opinion on the view given by the accounts.
Independent examiner's statement
In CODnection with my examinatio￿ no matter has come to my attention:
(a) Ivhich gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requiiements:
I. To keep accounting records in accordance with section 386 of the companies Act2006;
ll. To prepare accounts•wbich accord with the accounting records and comply with the
accounttng requirements of section 396 of the Companies Act 2006 and with the methods and
principles of the Statement of Recommended Practice: accounting and Reporting by Charities

The board of Trustees has assessed the major risk facing the church in its
adivities and has identffied the lack of its own church premises as a major
risk facing the church operations should the landlord demand his property
or increase the rent beyond the abilty of the church to pay.

The Trustees are therefore working all out to secure its own premises to
enable it function without any anxiety of the use of the premises.
Section C
Ob"ectives and activities
To advance the Christian religion for the benefit of the public in
accordance with the statement of belief appearing in the schedule
in particular but without limiting the forgoing by the provision of the
church services, prayer meetings and missionary work. To relive
poverty in Chelmsford Essex and Romford but without limiting the
foregoing provision by the provision of a soup kitchen. The Soup
Kitchen provides food to the vulnerable in our community.

The church runs worship and teaching SeNi￿S which is open to the
community. Many people who attended the ServI￿S leam about the
Christian faith and many who requested prayérs were also prayed for.
We also provide free counselling ServI￿S to the community and to
anyone who are lonely and f￿] they want to talk to someone.

The church depends largely on volunteers who run the various
department of the church such as the Praise and Worship team. technical
department, Ushers, and media team. The Trustees are forever grateful
for the services provided by the volunteers of the church.
The church does not operate any grant scheme and has no policy on it.

Achievements and performance
During the year the Church successfully ran its services throughout the
year for the communty. The ServI￿S the church run include Sunday
services, teaching ServI￿S during the weeK and Prayer meetings.
We have also increased our Soup Kitchen provision to reach more
people than the previous years.

successfully embarked on the free provision of second-hand dothing.
