Activities

Sister System works with care affected young women aged 13-24yrs, to help them achieve a life free of abuse, with good mental health, such that they re-engage with education and move into and sustain education, employment or training post-16. Sister System does this by providing intensive educational programmes and a range of pastoral activities of support and guidance over a period of 8 years.

Objects: To Act As A Resource For Girls And Young Women Aged From 13 To 21 Who Are In Or Have Been Supported By The Public Care System By Providing Advice And Assistance And Organising Programmes Of Educational And Other Activities As A Means Of:a) Advancing In Life And Helping Young People By Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals;b) Advancing Education;c) Relieving Unemployment.
