Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year During 2024- 2025 operation5 of Ark Angels has continued to be adversely affected by the financial climate. Approximately 109 domestic pets and horses have received help from the charity during the year. Funding raised through a number of routes, including private donations, auction. The funding raised has enabled the following lo be carried out., During Ark Angels Animal Rescue's fourth year of operation as constituted charity, over 600 domestic pets and horses have received help from the charity. 50 domestic animals have par-took in a neutering programme funded by the charity. 2 major operations have beon carried out, funded by the charity. 59 dental checks have been carried out on behalf of Ihe charily. 67 vaccinations have been carried out on animals in the care of the charity. 43 microchips have been administered to animals in the Gar& of the charity. Brief statement of the harity's policy on reserves Ark Angels Animal Rescue has a Reserves Policy. The trustees of Ark Angels Animal Rescue have agreed to the charity holding in reserve in its bank account £37,762. This reserve funding would enable th& charity to continue with 115 work should it receive an unforeseen expense or a drop in income or donations. Although Ark Angels Animal Rescue does nol employ staff directly and therefore does not have any direct staffing expenditure, there are a nurnber of financial commitments the ¢harity has an obligation to.11 is therefore important to hold some of the charities finance in reserve which include.. The long-term care of horses and ponies in the care of Ark Angels Animal Rescue. Costs include routine and emergency trealment and foed, ienlal costs of fields and 51able provision. Cover for any unfore8een emergencies that may arise, for example animal emergency operations. Off-site storage costs should th8 charity receive a drop in income. Routine treatment and food for dom8s1ic animals in the care of Ark Angels Animal Rescue (short. medium and long term fostered animals} should the Charity receive a drop in income. Any unforeseen costs associated with Ark Angels transport which facilitates the Iransportalion of animals in the care of Ark Angels Animal Rescue.
