IN PARTICULAR, TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN RESCUE HOMES OR OTHER FACILITIES FOR THE RECEPTION, CARE AND TREATMENT OF SUCH ANIMALS. Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document 2) TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ANIMALS BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITh FOR ANIMALS WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND AThENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO AN5MAL WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS. During Ark Angels Animal Rescue's past year of operation as a constituted charity, approximately 109 domests'c pets and horses hav8 received help from the charity. 50 domestic animals have par-took in a neutering programme funded by the charity. 2 major operations have been carried out, funded by the charity. 59 dental checks have been carried out on behalf of the charity. 87 vaccinations have been carried oul on animals in the care of the chanty. 43 microchips have been administered to animals in the care ofthe chanty. All fostering volunteers are vetled and assessed with on- going training or support provided by a trustee. General volunteers. This group of volunteers assist or carry out fundraising and general operational duties such as administration on behalf of the charity. Approximatèly 109 domestic pets and horses have re￿iVed help from the charity during the year. Funding raised through a number of roLrtes, including private donations, auction. Section D Achievements and performance Section E Financial review Brief statement of the charity's policy on reserves Ark Angels Animal Rescue has a Reserves Policy. The truslees ofArk Angels Animal Rescue have agreed to the charity holding in reserve in its bank account £35,000. This reseNe funding would enable the charity to continue with its work should it receive an unforeseen expense or a drop in income or donations. Although Ark Angels Animal Rescue does not employ staff directly and therefore does not have any direct staffsng expenditure, there are a number of financial commitments the charity has an obligation to. It is therefore important to hold some of the charities finance in reserve which include-, The long temi care of horses and ponies in the care ofArk Angels Animal Rescue. Costs include routine and emergency treatment and feed, rental costs of fields and stable provision. Cover for any unforeseen emergencies Ihat may arise, for exemple animal emergency operations. Off-site storage costs should thè charity re￿1ve a drop in income. Routine treatment and food for domestic animals in the care of Ark Angels Animal Rescue (short, medium and long term fosteréd animals) should the Gharily receive a drop in income. Any unforeseen costs associated wilh Ark Angels transport which facilitates the transportation of animals in the care of Ark Angels Animal Rescue.
