Structure, governance and management
The Charity is constituted as a CIO with a goveming document. The Trustees were
Lord Griffiths of Fforestfach, Lord Mccoll of Dulwich CBE MS FRCS FACS FRCSE.
Rt Hon John Glen, MP, Mrs Anne Devlin, The Reverend John Lenton, The Rt Hon
Ruth Kelly, Mr Stewart Newton FCA, Mr Philip Wood and Mr Stephen Beer.
The Trustees held regular meetings throughout the year to plan and discuss the range
of activities as well as to meet for prayer and fellowship. The Trustees regularly
evaluate the impact that the activities of the charity have on meeting its objectives and
for the benefit of public good.
Objectives and actlvltles
CRPA was set up to support lay people holding positions of influence and
responsibility and to help them relate their faith to their work. to be more informed on
topical subjects and to be better equipped to carry out their roles in public service.
Activities include dinners, lectures, talks. panels, conferences and small group
meetings that are organised with international speakers from business. finan￿,
politics, education. religion, arts and the media.
Through CRPA, people have been encouraged to be involved in responding to
community needs, charitable ventures and educational initiatives. CRPA is
ecumenical and has no political affiliation.
Achievements and performance
Over the year, CRPA held regular meetings with over 1100 people attending different
events organised by the charity. Speakers have included Government Ministers,
Fomier Ministers, MP'S. Members of the House of Lords. CEO'S, Senior Civil Servants,
Chairs of leading companies, Archbishops, broadcasters, journalists, authors,
psychologists, academics, doctors, entrepreneurs, politicians, Chief Executives of
NGO'S, bankers. business and other professional people. The subjects of the talks
have included 'What does it mean to be human in a world of Ari,
In December 2024 an Advent Service took place with Professor Glyn Harrison MD
FRCPSYCH speaking and over 430 people attended as well as many others joining
online.

Financial Review and Reserves policy
All the Trustees are active in attending Trustee meetings and events organised by
the CIO and participate in the planning of activities. The Trustees regularly assess
the financial position of CRPA. They monitof the expenditure and maintain a healthy
balance of reserves. All activities are always planned and budgeted within available
resources.
