wekome everyone wè offer a nO￿lu￿semental, understsndin& and safe Pla￿ where people can explore and
address their emotional needs. Our ￿ focuses on the well-beln8 of all.

The preservation and fftction ofthe physical and mentsl health of poople Ihrfng in the London Borough of
Harrow and the surrounding area by wovidlng counselling and workshops in nutrrlion and healthy eatlng.

counsglllng sesslons and wellbeing groups. includlng music and oxercise. Tho communlty 1$ now
•xperlencing the impact of thè cost-of4iving increase., mental health users, BAME and LGBT group8
continue to be our prlorlty as wo arn awarn thal they arg some of thè most vulngrable groups in our
communlty.
%> Support and Provide afPordable ¢ounselling to approximatsly 81K) counsellln8 se5slons quarterly. We
have 24 wunsellors seeing a minimum of 3 cllents each per week Clients can either have 12 sessions
(short winsellSn8) or opt for open-ended counsellln8 ertendlngto up to 2 years.
We have an ongoing emotlonal support 8roup that empowers people to seekfvrther 5UPI)ort or better
cope with their mental well-beln8.
We have always supported around 20-25 voluntèer ¢ounsellors at anytlme who are on the path to
becoming fully quallfled counsellors OT accruing counselllng hours towards thelr accreditatlon for future
practlce.
We provSde future practltloners, coun5ellor5 and ￿h¢r volunteers wlth (young people supporting us wlth
our social media presence):

Projects that we have been worklng on this year:

This project gave people the opportunity to come together and Increase their emotlon81 and physical well-being
through music, exercise, and emotional support groups.
HT Ukralne- Continued from prwlous year.
Targeted support for Ukrainian TefuBees and their families to access emotional support through counselling In their
lan8ua8e.
TNL Community Fund- continued from previous year.
This funding enabled u5 to provide emotional support to the community FK>5t-pandemic, targeting some of the m05t
vulnerable groups suffering from Mental health issues and those from the BAME community.
Northwood School- continued from previous year.
Need To Talk ha5 two regular coun5ellors placed within the school. offerlll8 1.2.1 sessions for young people.
Rocket Sclence- contlnued from wevious year.
This project helped us create a safe space for vulnerable women in the Community, whereby their difflculties
(domestic vlolencel have been exacerbated due to the COVID-19 pandemlc.
Natlonal Lottery Community Fund- Emotlonal crfs
This is a new project that just started in March 24 and will continue into the next financial year. This will
support and continue to provide one to one counselling. Also. thls will help to Sustain the three dlfferent platforms
that we use at Need to Talk.

Overall. 23124 ha5 been a steady year. iooklng forward to the next year we wlll need to raise more funds so we
¢an ensure that Need to Talk can carry on offerlty the ¢ommunSty a great servlce counselling sessS1)ns.
Thè ¢urrent lèvel of reserves Is £2376 whl¢h are less than ow reser¥e5 pollcy expe¢tatlons. The Iwve been
reviewlng expenditure to enable and io ensure the reserves are at a rninimum level. The trustees are almln8 to
ha¥e the reserves level inline with the Reserves poll¢¥ by the end of the nextflnan¢ial year.
Reserve5 Policy
Free reseTves equatlng to at least four (41 month5 of unre5trirted expendlture to support costs and to respond to
emergency needs whith arise from time io time.
In additlon. there is also a need to desl8nate ¢ertain sums from flee reserves for antklpated expendlture in the
short to medlum term.
Thls would generally be for capltal expendltyre and will be speclfied in the note5 to the annual a￿ounts.
