**Objects:** THE PROMOTION, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, OF KNOWLEDGE AND RESEARCH INTO THE HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF MILFORD-ON-SEA AND ITS SURROUNDING AREA BY:A) THE RESEARCH, RECORDING AND PRESERVATION OF THE HISTORY OF THE AREA INCLUDING PROMOTING AND ENCOURAGING THE STUDY OF ITS HISTORY, HERITAGE AND ARCHAEOLOGY;B) THE COLLECTION AND RESEARCH OF RECORDS RELATING TO MILFORD AND MAKING THEM ACCESSIBLE TO THE PUBLIC;C) THE LIAISON WITH OTHER HISTORY GROUPS LOCALLY, REGIONALLY AND NATIONALLY SO AS TO FURTHER THE INTERESTS OF THE SOCIETY

**Activities:** The Society provides a programme of public lectures and holds a collection of items of local historical interest. To increase the public accessibility of the collection a project entitled ?Bringing History Home? has been established. This involves the creation of an open publicly accessible web site to hold an extensive catalogue of all the items in our collection,
