For the benefft of the public to protect and promote health by the
provision of grants to further research and develop nèw treatments and
ulb'mately improve eAJre rates for T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia
and publish the useful results of such research.

A third grant request was received in De￿mber 2021 from Action
Medical Research to continue supporting a T-ALL drug resistance study
led by Dr Frederik van Delft at Newcast16 Universty. The trustees
Considered that the application was in line our charitable objects. The
ttustees also gave regard to thè Chanty Commission public benofft
guidance and agreed the award fuffilled statutory public benefft cr¢teria. A
report from the research team detailed work Gompleted to date and
papers successfully published. A third grant of £10,000 was approved
which was paid in January 2022. This is likely to be the final grant
request for this researth project wilh the final results to be published later
in 2023.

achi•voments of the charlty
during the year
The Charity has a signfficant number of fijndraisers and supporters who
continue to work hard for the charity for which we are truly very grateful.
2022 saw some recovery from Covid restrictions. We didn't run any
dedicated events bui more indivKlual fundraising was able to take place.
There were a significant number of other individual donations and
fijndraising giving a total net income of £10909.90. Included in this is a
signfficant donation from Rrta Tillin as well as Christmas card sales from
designs made especially for us by Noah Harrison Blount.
