Due to ongoing political instability during the annual period, particularly in Cameroon, no charitable grants were made in-year. The **charity’s policy on reserves** trustees consider that this level will provide sufficient funds to respond to applications for grants, identify suitable projects, and ensure that support and governance costs are covered. The trustees consider that a level of three months is sufficient given the ongoing level of donations and low regular fixed cost. The balance held as unrestricted funds at 31 March 2021 was £32,750.
