opportunities to learn of the Christian faith and
support with other educational needs and
emotional wellbeing. The area of work is
geographically from Prestatyn to Rhos on Sea.
The service is free to the users. C4E also works
with the local Christian faith community to help
them engage with their local schools.|

whole.|Para 1.20|September 2019 – end of February 2020 were
exciting days for C4E. Using the support of
Transforming Lives for Good, one to one
mentoring was established in 5 local schools.
This led to a request for literacy assistance from
one school and volunteers were found to deliver
this. Partnering with Care for the Family we
were able to assist in the delivery of parenting
courses in 6 schools. College work continued
with much time spent in one to one sessions
with students or in tutorials. Assemblies were
delivered in both primary and secondary
schools, sometimes with local volunteers but
also using invited guests such as The Message.
March bought lockdown and a need to reassess
what the charity could do. Supporting and
encouraging teaching staff who faced a
tremendous strain became our focus with
messages, letters, ideas and prayers. This was
much appreciated. As the year drew to a close
we began to explore what the charity could do
should lockdown continue and it was decided to
concentrate on the need for support both
mentallyandphysicallythrough digitalprovision.|
