This organisation was founded by Elizabeth Shrager in 2016 a￿1 b￿arne a registered charity in March 2019.
The trustees present their report and financial statements for the year ended 31st. DeC￿ber 2020.
The finanaal statements have b￿n drawn up in accordance with the Ststement of Recommended Prattice (SORP
2015) - "Accounting and Reporting by Charities..
Governing document
Packs 4 Parents s a charitsble incorrx)rated organisation (CIO) which operates under a foundalion document dated
13th. March 2019, and is Registered Charity no. 1177528
Objects, objectives and activities
The provision of free emergency suppty p3cks of toiletries and similar items to parents whose children are rushed
into hospitsl before they have had time to prepare for admission. Packs are supplied to hospitals who decide how
thev are distributed. but the main focus is Dredominantly on those in paediatric intensive care.
Future prospects
The future of the CIO detEnds on its success in fundraising.
Public benefit
The trustees have referred to the guidan￿ in the Charity CommissM)n's generdl guidan￿ on public benefit when
reviewing the CIO'S aims and objectives and in planning its future activities. In particular, the trustees consider
how planned activities will contribute to the aims and objectives they have *t. The trustees are satisfied that the
benefits provided are directty ￿lated to the CIO'S aims, and they confirm that the Op￿rtUnIty to benefrt is
restricted solety by the availabilty of funds. They further confirm that people in poverty are not excluded, that
benefts provided outweigh any detrimenL and that the CIO'S LEneficiaries are entirely appropriate to its aims.

Appointment of new trustees
New trustees are appointed following acceptance of an invitation from the existing trustees to be appointed. A list
of trustees acting during the year appears in the infonnation page of these statements.
Activities and financial review
The trustees are reS￿nSIble for the governan￿ of the charitable and fvndraising activities of the CIO. This year
saw a small deficit. and reserves carried forward to 2020 have reduced as a result.
Reserves policy
The trustees, reserves policy 6 to hokl in r￿e1ve suffKient to at least six months of a yearfs estimated
expenses.
Trustees remuneration
The committee meets regularty to discuss and review ttE ao's activities. No mejnber of the committee received
any remuneration during the year.
Committee responsibilrties
The trustees are responsible for preparing the annual report and the financial ststements in accordance with
applicable law and regulations.

Charty law requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year in accordance with United
Kingdom Generally AC￿pted Accounting Practice (United Kingdom Accounting Standards and applicable law). The
financial statements are required by law to give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and of the
income and extEnditure of the charity for that pericKI. In preparing these financial ststements, the trustees are
required to:

. make judgments and estimates that are reasonable and pruden¢
. stste whether applicable UK Accounting Standards have been followed, subject to any material
departures disclosed and explained in the financial stat8Ments;
prepare the financial statements on the going con￿rn basis, unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charty
will continue in otEration.
The trustees are restK)nsible for k￿pIng proper accounting records that disclose wtth reasonable accuracy at any
time the financial tK)Sition of the charity and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the
Charities Act 2011. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hen￿ for taking
reasonable steps for the prevention arKI detection of fraud and other irregularities.
