Aims and Activities

Our activities were constrained by the Covid15 pandemic but we took the opportunity to broaden our community involvement in related charitable activities.

We continued to provide a place of worship patterned on the bible, both the tanach (Old Testament) and the brit hadasha (New Testament). This activity was reduced due to Covid19 but continues with regular Zoom meetings

We support ‘FULLHRH’, a weekly activity feeding the unfortunate, Lost, Lonely, Hungry, Homeless and rough sleepers at various locations in Plymouth. feeding program for …..

We were active at Derriford Hospital through regular ward visits and a role in ‘end of life’ chaplaincy support.

David has been active as a Chaplain at Devon and Cornwall Police visiting a large station in Plymouth and Role playing in police training courses at HQ. David was on-site as chaplain during the Keyham shooting incident. David resigned from Devon and Cornwall police in November 2021.

David took up a chaplaincy role in December in the Keyham and Ford wards with the support of the local authority. We established good relations with a local school in Keyham and with several local churches.

We are involved in the local Neighbourhood Watch, working together with local Councillors, the police and Plymouth City Council. We respond to requests for help and advice from local residents on issues such as noise, speeding vehicles, fly tipping, li er, road maintenance, inconsiderate parking, and more. We co-operate with other organizations in community outreach and social and charitable activities.

We remain accountable to Tikkun International in Israel and are members of the International Fellowship of Messianic congregations and synagogues (IAMCS). We are part of Churches together in Plymouth and Churches together in Devon.

We are waiting to renew activities with the Plymouth Centre for Faiths and Cultural Diversity (PCFCD) in order to address the statutory requirements of the 2014 “Engaging With Religion and World Views” Agreed Syllabus for Religious Educa4on, through lively and creative learning.
