Declared Aim and Purpose
The trustees have the reswnsibilty of oxiperating with the ordained leader, David Vkight, an
emissary ordained by Tikkun Intemational in I￿OMotIr1j a first ￿ntury model of congregations of
Jewish and gentile believers in the Messiah Yeshua (aka Jesus) in Ptymouth to b8 known as 'Beit
Ezra Messianic Congregation,.
Messianic Judaism is a movement that is people focussed and 'Bert Ezra. exists to tenefft the
public at large and not just a like minded congregation.
From the outset, before registration as a charity. Belt Ezra has ￿en involved in the communty.
Registration as a charity has enabled us to further that invotvemenL
Objectives and Activities
We operate to tenefft the public both in spirttual tenns txrt also to have regard to the practical
needs of our communty. We ctroperate with other organizations in outreach and social and
tharitable activth'es.
Congregation
As a congregation Belt kn is charged to of worship pattemed on th8 bible. both
the tanach (Old Testsment) and the tKit hadasha (New Testament). We provide a safe and non-
threatening environment for Jewish and gentile erquirers into Jewish roots of Christianty.
We are part of Tikkun Intemational and are accountable to their leadership. are m&mbers of
the International Fellowship of Messianic rx)ngregations and synagogues (IAMCS).
At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic we c¢)ntinued to meet in a local church hall following the
govemment conditions. ￿Then this proved too restrictive and atteTh￿an￿ dropped signfficantly we
met on-line using the Zoom utilty.
We have continued to welcom8 all people regardless of race. ag8. gender, religion induding no
religion
Belt Ezra in the Communty
We see Eert Ezra as part of the ￿der church in Plymouth. and we are listed on the Churches
Together in Flymouth 74vebsite.
W8 are active in 'Churches together in Plymouth Prayerf. During the pandemic w8 have met on
Zoom with a number of other t*lievers from many other congregations on a biWnesd0y moming
to pray for the Cty of Plymouth. We have speakers from the various churches * well as Council
officials, the police. and the various faith communty organizations.

Feeding the hungry: We support an activity in the communty that provides food for th08e dassed
as unfortunate. Lost, Lonely, Hungry, Rough sleepers and Homeless.
Hospital Pastoral visitor- NHS Derriford Chaplaincy we were unable to continue this activty du8 to
Covid-19 restrictions
Police Chaplaincy- David Wright conlinwl as trE chaplain at Charles Cross Police station in
Plymouth. Police Ghaplains are a norkiudgemental. listening ear for anyone in the stats'on induding
officers, staff, volunteers and also the famity members of those serving in the police
Plymouth Centre for Faiths and Cultural Diversty {PCFCD) has succe88fulFy created thousands of
opportunities for children and young people to m88t 8p8ak8rs from a variety of faith8 and cultural
backgrounds in schools and other settings. These encounters allow chiklren to exparience the
reality of religion as a way of living lrfe and identify the values that all religions teach, thus enabling
schools to address the statutory requirements of the 2014 'Engaging With Religion and World
Views. Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education, through Ir48ly and creative leaming. David Wright
is one of these speakers but has not been activ8 due to Covi&19 r8*rlctions.
