Activities

The Charity operates community boats based on Beverley Beck in East Yorkshire, with its restored Humber Barge Syntan acting as a museum, meeting space and mobile resource to show the history and operation of craft on Beverley Beck. This is enhanced by our vessel Sun, used as a trip boat to carry passengers including those with mobility issues and our small training and trip boat Mermaid.

Objects: (a) To Advance The Education Of The Public By The Preservation, Restoration Display And Operation Of The Charity's Vessels.(b) To Advance The Education Of The Public In The History And Practices Of The Inland Waterways, The Industry Served By Them And In Particular Beverley Beck And The River Hull.
