The Charity maintains four almshouse properties and grounds to a comfortable living standard for its residents. The Charity has 20 apartments across three locations, two sites in St Nicholas Hurst and one in Twyford.Two of the buildings are Grade II listed C17 brick buildings, one is a 1960s terrace of bungalows and the fourth is purpose-designed terrace completed in 2019.
Objects: 1) The Maintenance And Provision Of Almshouse Accommodation For The Public Benefit Of Those In Charitable Need Including Those In Financial Hardship Who Live In The Ancient Parish Of Hurst In Berkshire And Adjacent Parishes. 2) The Relief Of Financial Hardship, Either Generally Or Individually, Of The Residents Of The Ancient Parish Of Hurst In Berkshire And Adjacent Parishes By Making Grants Of Money Or Providing Or Paying For Items, Services Or Facilities.
