Over this past year we have again been unsuccessful in recruiting any new members despite efforts but are pleased to welcome back a returning member, thus increasing our present number of six. This has again restricted our plans to serve our local community and we have had to be selective in choosing which fund raising events to support We were however pleased to encourage a number of family members and friends again to help us put on our annual Swimarathon event. This year our main beneficiary was a local charity, Rockinghorse Children's Charity, El 0000 A further E5000 was handed over to the various swimming team charities as well as É3000 pounds donated to our own Trust Fund Further payments will be made following receipt of Gift Aid payment from HMRC.
We continue to respond to requests for financial support from individuals, local organisations and other charitable causes.
