Trustee Re rt for the Wirto Room Bucklebu 2025 The purpose of our charity is to provide a village hall for the use of parishioners in the Bucklebury and surrounding parishes. The hall has a number of regular users from Community and Youth groups. indudin8 a weèkly Sewing Group, an Art Group a History Group, Horticultural Sooety Shows and for the youth a Pony Club and weekly bookings for Cubs. Scouts and Guides. It is used for manv Children's parties and Wedding5 and Remembrance 8atherin8s. It now has a number of more commercial artivities but these are also for the wellbeing of local inhabitsnts includin8 Pilates. Yo8a and Arts and Crafts courses. Thefe is a quarterly seasonal supper hosted by a local chef. The trustees hosted one event in the year that ralsed £446 and was well attended by parishioners. These events rely heavily on local support and volunteer5 for which we are very grateful. Lettings income decreased sli8htly from our record year In 2024. Income decreased by £I.100, or 7% over the previous year to £15.318. The trustees continue to re-invest surplus income over expenditure into the hall to make sure it is maintained to a hi8h standard. Thls year we installed bllnds into the meeting room and invested In a PA system for our events. We elosed the financlal yeaf Wlth a bank ba18nce of £40.153. The trustees will contlnue to make investments into the hall over the coming year.
