IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS OBJECT THE CIO MAY DO ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: (I) PROMOTE ENCOURAGE AND CO-ORDINATE THE STUDY OF THE HISTORY OF INDUSTRIAL RAILWAYS AND LOCOMOTIVES PAST AND PRESENT. (II)INFORM THE PUBLIC OF THE HISTORY OF INDUSTRIAL RAILWAYS AND LOCOMOTIVES THROUGH PUBLICATIONS PROMOTIONS EXHIBITIONS AND THE AVAILABILITY OF INFORMATION AND ILLUSTRATIONS FROM ITS ARCHIVE.
