and responsible individuals; (b)Advancing
education;(c)Supporting the families of children
enrolled in educational programmes to enable
them to overcome financial, social and health
barriers that can impact on their children.

recreational and leisure time activity in the
interests of social welfare for people living in the
area of benefit who have need by reason of their
youth, age, infirmity or disability, poverty or
social and economic circumstances with a view
to improving the conditions of life of such
persons.
The relief of mental, social and low emotional
wellbeing of young people at risk of NEET by
provision of counselling and support
To promote learning for pleasure by people no
longer in full time employment through the
continued development of their individual
capabilities, competencies, skills and
understanding in subjects of educational value.|

activities, projects or services

1.19|Impact-Now offers tutoring in mathematics,
English, and the Sciences with target group of
ages 7-18yrs i.e., curriculum tutoring support in
basic skills for key stages 1-5.
Impact-Now source and provides
apprenticeship and work experience to
youth at risk of NEET (Not in education,
employment, or training) ages 16-24 years
and youths with learning disabilities up to 35
years.
Impact-Now also supports youth at Risk of
NEET by providing 1:1 direct work through
targeted intervention and support, as well as
groupwork for youths affected by range of
social, emotional, transitional and
challenging issues. This includes domestic
violence, mental health, self-confidence,
substance misuse, self–esteem, anger
management, depression, anxiety, self-
harm, difficult and challenging behaviour
that have impacted on their education and
development.
In addition, Impact-now also offers sessions
in natural handmade cosmetic (skincare
products, and handmade soap), jewellery
making, keyboard as well as cake and
dessert making.
More advance and specialized courses are
also provided for those who are 19yrs+.
These sessions include adult jewellery
making, baking, and handmade soap making
as well as cooking sessions.
There is also provision for supporting the
independence of older or disabled people.
Supporting the families of children enrolled
in our programmes to enable them to
overcome financial, social and health
barriers that can impact their children.

- • Keep youths engage in community projects by signposting them to other activities.
- Teach youths to be young entrepreneurs. By learning how to make natural products and jewellery pieces, they would learn the cost of raw materials, and how pricing is done, and sell these products at community stalls, thereby learning how to create revenue for themselves.
- Helps youths explore their creativity, which will be displayed by the designs of the pieces they created.
- Route to higher education.
- Increase knowledge regarding nutrition and healthy eating.
- Teach youths and adults budgeting skills.

**TUTORING (Sciences, Mathematics and**
**English)- Virtual sessions**
The covid-19 crisis made it impossible to
face-face sessions. In May, during the 1st
lockdown, we started virtual tutoring via
Zoom for our students.
Post lockdown we now operate both
face-face and virtual sessions
•
**Holiday Well-being programme.**
We were able to sessions for children on
free school meal every holiday. These
sessions are designed to help young
people stay occupied, engaged, and
continue to interact with others post-
covid-19 .
The Activities include scavenger hunts, Lego
games, Arts, crafts, sewing, jewellery making,
Quizzes.

**Community support programme.**
Our community support programme
started during the lockdown. IMPACT-
NOW supports families in need with
surplus food supplied by super-stores
like Co-op, Waitrose, and Asda.
We now run a food bank that support
families in the community as well as
mental health check-in calls, direct work
for adult and befriending services.

**Social Media**
We continue to have a strong presence
on Facebook and twitter with more than
1500 likes across our Facebook pages.
We now have two Instagram pages.
One is dedicated to the organisation and
the other one is dedicated to our
youth@risk of NEET project.
We continue to get positive feedbacks and
support from the parents and families in the
community.|
