ANNUAL REPORT & COMMENTS ON THE ACCOUNTS

  1. Income. 2021 was in general terms a disappointing year for dividends; we are glad that the Church of England Investment Fund dividends have held up. We received no donations nor legacies in the course of 2021.

  2. Expenditure. The church council agreed to install a hearing loop system in church. £1,000 was received by donation; the trustees agreed to fund the remaining £550; by all accounts, it has been well received. A further £53.50 was paid for an altar edition of the Book of Common Prayer.

  3. 194.80 shares were bought, for £4,000, on 2nd February; 92.66 were bought, for £2,000 on 15th June; 213.70 were bought on 23rd November, for £5,000; giving a total at the end of the year of 1,569.29 shares, with a market value of £36,683 on 31.12.21.

  4. The AGM was held in church after the morning service on 6th June 2021. We were pleased to welcome Toby Stephenson as a new trustee.
