**To advance the Sanatana Dharma Universal religion for the benefit of the public in accordance with the teachings of Brahmarishi Mohanji by:** 

a) conducting services (satsang) that promote physical and mental wellbeing, in particular through the practice of meditation, yoga and breathing techniques,

b) conducting classes on meditation, yoga and breathing techniques, 

c) providing classes, programs, seminars, retreats, workshops, books, videos and other educational materials, 

d) establishing and maintaining ashrams, temples, prayer halls, and meditation halls, 

e) co-operating with government bodies, non-governmental organisations and other registered charities for the furtherance of the charity’s objects, 

f) soliciting, collecting, receiving acquiring, holding and investing funds and property received by gift, donation, contribution or bequest for the furtherance of the charity’s objects, 

g) applying the proceeds, income and rents derived from any property of the charity for the furtherance of the charity’s objects,

## **SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES FOR MOHANJI FOUNDATION UK IN 2020 to MARCH 2021 CONDUCTED FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT** 

Due to the ongoing pandemic and lockdown, all activities have been online for this period. 

## **Programmes:** 

These typically consist of one or more of the following activities Yoga, meditation, conscious walking, conscious dancing, Mai Tri session and group discussion plus vegan lunch. 

## **On line activities April 2020 to March 2021** 

These sessions came about as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, transitioning the activities to on line.

The number of volunteers has increased over the reporting period and the scope of activities has also increased, in particular Mai Tri practitioners and Yoga activities.

## **Costs** 

The Charity purchased two Zoom accounts and Meetup account for the purposes of the on-line programmes as physical programmes were not possible. We therefore had reduced costs for renting of spaces but increased costs for Zoom accounts. 

## **Income** 

The principal source of funds were: 

- Donations sourced locally through one off contributions or regular monthly donations. 

- Donation for one day programmes 

- Sale of books and merchandise 

- Incomes generating activities such, one day programmes 

- Fundraising programmes such as Xmas wrapping and food stalls. 

## **Fundraising** 

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we reduced our physical fundraising programmes. We have created a weekly newsletter with a donate button and facebook donate link for easier donation via facebook. 

## **Section F                     Other optional information** 

The charity also made down payments for a Mind Body and Spirit exhibition at Olympia which is nonrefundable. This event scheduled for May 2020 was moved to dates in 2021 and is now scheduled for April 2022 with the prospect of even further delay. 

The charity is looking to support the set up of physical ‘ashram’ locations so support the objectives of the foundation. This includes supporting the set up of land/building in India and Slovenia initially as well as exploring option for a space in the UK, perhaps with funding from local councils.
