Objectives and activitles The principal objective5 of the charity are to provide a newly built village hall for use by the inhabitants of the village of Ramsdell and the surrounding area. In following these objectives, the trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charty Commission Resèrve Policy It has been the Trustees, policy to ensure there are sufficient funds to cover expenditure incurred in relating to plannin& funding professional fees in fulfilling plans for the new village hall. Financial results As reported in the accompanying Statement of Fin3ncial Artivitie5, there was an excess of expenditure over income of1£29,CK)5.601 compared to a surplus in 2020 of £47,057.97). The income in the year relates to ongoing fundraising activities and the draw-down of grants and donations received towards the New Ram5dell Church and Village Hall project. The expenditure relates to the execution of building works and professional fees incurred in the construttion of the new village hall. At year Ènd cash at bank was £71,437.46.
