We house up to nine men and women in our two supported houses in Anfield Liverpool. The residents have a background of homelessness, drugs, offending and mental health issues. We have also trained similar people to go into schools, colleges, youth offending services and youth clubs and educate around the issues of addiction, drug dealing and county lines.

To date we have educated 140,000 young people, 5080 police officers and had over 570 volunteers.

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

The two supported houses are being run as per normal.

This year we have been fortunate to receive funding worth £51,000 over three years ,this makes certain that we are very sustainable for at least the next four years.

Additional details of objectives and activities (Optional information)

The volunteers are the essence of Choose Life and the project, young people and professionals are amazed at their bravery and commitment to educating young people.

We encourage the more experienced volunteers to encourage the newer volunteers at all stages of training and delivering addiction education in the schools and colleges.
