Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | During 2021, the trustees have focused their work on two main areas of activity: 1. Ensuring continuous support to UK charities through the provision of free online software, the KindLink for Charity Platform. At the end of 2021: a. More than 2,300 charities are registered on the platform, +500 from the end of 2020, continuing the previous year trend. b. Organisations using KindLink raised over £1,423,000, compared to £1,220,000 in 2020. This is a particulalry important achievement in a year when the whole charity sector struggled with a combination of increased demand for their services and lack of funding. 2. Ensuring the Foundation has financial stability over the long run. a. We increased the number of Payroll Giving clients and has have considerably increased donations from private and corporate donors, which we have distributed in exchange of a small management fee. At the end of the year, our charitable income had grown almost +£100,000 from the previous year, and we had distributed just short of |
| £65,000, compared to £30,000 in 2020. b. The covid-19 pandemic had an impact on the day to day activities of the KindLink Foundation, but the Foundation is still in a strong position to deliver on its charitable objectives. |
