We work in partnership with Churches and
officials to develop strategies that identify
areas of need, and initiatives that will
contribute to meeting these needs. This is

consultations with citizens to secure their
cooperation and commitment|

Atwima Kwanwoma was delivered by the
Ghanian community themselves – building
on the social capital i.e. organisation and
community engagement skills learnt from
previous interactions with the project
manager. More than 250 children and their
families benefited from this activity.
The purchase of chairs and desks and the
contribution of educational resources has
enhanced the learning experience of
children attending the school by providing
them with their own individual resources, an
outcome from this has been an increase in
the number of children now attending the
school.
We have continued to see individuals in
Ghana raise their standard of living through
the creation, selling of jewellery, and knitting,
skills we had shared on an earlier visit.|
