WORSHIPPING FRIENDS

REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES for the year ended 28[th] February 2021

The trustees present their report and accounts for the year ended 31st December 2021. The trustees have opted, under section 133 of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Charities Act’), to prepare receipts and payments account

Objectives and Aims

The charity's objects as set out in the charity's Trust Deed are to advance the Christian religion through the provision of worship and prayer gatherings primarily, but not exclusively, in Cornwall.

The strategies employed to achieve the charity’s aims and objectives are to organise extended worship gatherings, linking with local churches with a focus on spontaneous, spacious and prophetic worship.

Public benefit

The Trustees have considered the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit and consider that the activities of the charity meet its charitable objectives and provide a benefit to the public.

Volunteers

The charity relies on voluntary help for the organisation and running of its conferences. Over the past 12 months, over 30 volunteers have taken part in these sessions.

Achievement and Performance Charitable activities

Worshipping Friends’ hope and vision is to see people from all nations loving God on earth as it is in heaven, night and day, 24/7, practising the Greatest Commandment together with many coming to know the love of Jesus through the revelation of His love and glory.

2020 - 2021 was a third exciting and very challenging year for Worshipping Friends as a registered charity. This year it was time to get more creative, head outdoors and ask God for greater wisdom and discernment in ways to gather. We gathered in gardens and in open air landmarks. We worshipped in open sided barns and joined with others, gathering to worship outdoors on church grounds. We enjoyed exploring some live recording, resulting in a few songs we released on Spotify and YouTube. We became even more familiar with risk assessments and pros at putting up gazebos. All the while our conviction of His worth, His majesty and His holiness grows. May we see worship on earth as it is in heaven, day and night, in the round of His throne room, with only one at the centre, the King of Kings, Jesus Christ.

In our third charity year (28th Feb to 28th Feb) we have covered more than 1716+ miles, devoted 280+ hrs, at 111 gatherings linking with 30 churches and organisations of varying denominations to exalt and praise His Name together. It has been an honour to meet and worship God with church family from across the South West as was possible this year; encouraging one another to step out boldly in following His lead through creative praise offerings.

As we have grown in Him this year, we feel a deep excitement for what will await us in 2021. To play our part in covering this nation in worship and prayer and seeing the restoration of 24/7 throne room worship in every village, town and city throughout our nation.
