To relieve the needs of those unemployed and promote and preserve the good mental and physical health of those suffering from or who are at risk of developing any form of mental ill health, in particular but not exclusively by advice the provision of peer support stress management workshops, courses, mentoring, counselling, holistic self-help and nutritional advice.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:to Relieve The Needs And Promote And Preserve The Good Mental And Physical Health Of Those Suffering From Or Who Are At Risk Of Developing Any Form Of Mental Ill Health, In Particular But Not Exclusively By:(1) The Provision Of Help, Support And Advice Through Peer Support, Stress Management And Motivational Training Courses And Counselling.(2) The Provision Of Recreational Activity And Nutritional Advice To Improve The Health And Wellbeing Of Those Suffering From Mental Ill Health.(3) The Provision Of Courses And Support To Improve The Chances Of Those Suffering From Mental Ill Health Gaining Employment.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005 And Section 2 Of The Charities Act(northern Ireland) 2008.
