Risks lo which the chanty is expose<l have been addressed by a review of the Trustees. The financial
records of the charity are written up each month and a report of the position to date reported to the
Board. Each project is closely monitored to assess the progress against budgeted income and costs.
Internal risks are minimised by procedures whith require authorisation of all transactions and projects
and a system ol regular supervisK>n and appraisal lo ensure consislenl qualrty of delivery of all

Objectives and activities
To support the effiaency and effeth"vene55 arKI the effectNe use of charrtable resource5 of third sector
organisations in Mid Devon by".
1. Providing support to assist in their good goveman¢e.
2. Building their capacity through support. advice and informatM)n services.
3. Liaising with and co-ordinating them to provide charitable services lo improve the lives of the
crtyzens In Mid Devon.
4. Facililaling co-operation and partnerships to promote their services by bringing them together with
public agencies and statutory authorities in Mid Devon.
5. Identifying gaps in charitable services and supporting them to fill those gaps.
6. Providing advocacy for them and their ultimate beneficiaries, particulady with regard lo having their
views heard by policy makers, service providers and lunders.
7. Maintaining a database of their services and projects which benefit people in Mid Devon.
In these objects the followng definitions apply.. al "Third sector organisations means charities,
voluntary organisations and social enterprises. bl "Charities" are organisations which are established
for exclusively charitable purposes in accordance wlh the law of England and Wales.

distributed 12 local funding news bulletins

maintained listings of services still running through the pandemic

grant agreements with the local Primary Care Nets¥orks.

This financial year we undertook a project to set up Friendship Groups across Mid Devon
which ron successfully virtually in three locations wrth 36 people participating on a regular
