LYNEMOUTH RECREATION GROUND Charity Number 1177166 ANNUAL REPORT 1st APRIL 2025 - 31st MARCH 2026 The Trustees continuetorun the Recreation GroundbuildingatLynemouth forthe use of the community with people being able to use the facilities as and when required events, meetings and sporting events. Followlng the establlshm8ntofthe Charftable Incorporated Organisatlon structure the Trustees have been workingwith Northumberland Countycouncil and CISWO to take on direct own8rshipofthe Recreation Ground with the Cou ncil reliquishing its standing as Custodian Trustee. This has involved some legal advice and expenditure together with the raising of grants to make agreed repairs and improvements to the building in order to make dilapidations good in line with CISWO requirements. Following the previous years activity to consult with the community establishing the types of events and priorities the community wish to see the Trustees and the Recreation ground deliver for the benefit of the community of Lynemouth we are deliqhted to report several new user groups including the Craft Club together with a numberofevents includingthe Fayre Day, Christmasmarket, History Talks and Coffee moming have taken place which has helped to grow income. As ever the Trustees are grateful to all of the users of the Recreation Ground and building and are also extremely grateful for the support received from our fundets, most especially Northumberland County Council, Lynemouth Parish Council, Tyne and Wear and Northumberland Community Foundation, Northumbrian Leisure, St 8artholomew's Church Fund (Rudge Legacy Fund) and Karbon Homes who have given so much to the improvements we have delivered to the building.
