LYNEMOUTH RECREATION GROUND Charity Number 1177166 ANNUAL REPORT 1st APRIL 2024 - 31st MARCH 2025 The Trust88s continue to run the Recreation Ground building 8t Lynemouth for the use of the community with people being able to use the facilities as and when required for events, meetings and sporting events. Following our successful fund raising Campaign over the previous years we contlnued to complete some work on the refurbishment of a brand new heatlng system. We were also successful In obtaining funding In order to allow for the installation of new washbasins and toilets. During the year a number rf coimmunity engag&ment activities have bean undertaken in order to establish the types of events and priorities the community wish to see the Trustees and the Recreation ground deliver for the benefit of the community of Lynemouth. We have 81so recently employed a new part tlme member of staff as a Communlty Co-ordinalor and Lauren will focus her duties on promoting activity wlth In the Recreation Ground and Community Building. As ever the Trustees ar8 grateful to all of the users of the Recreation Ground and building and are also extremely grateful for the support received from our funders, most especially Northumberland County Council, Lynemouth Parish Council and Karbon Homes who have given so much to the improvements we have delivered to the building.
