support for the followng projectslorganisations
Young Enterprise
Funding towards supporting activities, workshops and work placemenls
to support local young people, enabling them to develop their financial
capabilsty and employabilty skills, with an aim to securing future
ernployment. Young people tho access the opportunities through Ihe
charity are more financially capable and better prepared for the future,
developing employability skills and confidence through encounters with
relatable tDle models.
Anxiety- Inspire & Achieve
apping around the Princes Trust Program￿￿, funding towards an
Anxiety mentor to work wth this local tharity.. slriving to improve the lives
of unemployed young people aged 16-26 are strnggling in their lives,
many of thom have been vtctims of abuse, neglect and povety, and the
vast majority have leaming difficuhies and mentsl health concerns. The
charity helps to encourage them to overcome their ban7ers and find a
route through to positive destinations suckn as into employm8nL
education and training.

Funding towards hearing loops for the observatory located within Sutton
in Ashfield. The Obseryalory is expanding their CUETent facilities for the
benefit of the local community, to provid6 new faalities including opening
the floor of the reservoir beneath and repurposing into an exhibitton
space, creating a planetarium dome, café, and meeting room.
Ami¢hair Club Sports Foundation
Supporting the sports foundation to provide funding towdrds 'Grass
Roots, sporting groups.
Funding donated to be matched by the
Foundation.

The purchase of digital and physical handbooks to help children dealing

Community Choir to enable them to give 2 public perforniance5. The
Choir was noted to support carers and people vtho isolated.
Mansfield Community Hub- (Swilch up)
Funding to invest in a mentoring program. The charity supports people
who were in a gang life environment but are now tuming their lives
around. The support is offered through schools, social seNices and they
have a building in Mansfield thich houses a boxing ring and provides
sports after school clubs and serves the Community. They are successful
in Noltingham already and are now growng the Mansfield base.
UK New Artists IUKNA)
Funding towards a lead artist, facilitator, art materials for workshop.

development of a new, creative project for LGBTQ+ for young people in
manSf￿[d Queering Mansfield Museum.
Inspired by a recent UKNA project in Lincoln. a pmfessional artist (in the
first 10 years of their career) will work wth 10 LGBTQ+ young people in
Mansfield, to explore local history thrt)ugh a queer lens. Taking Mansfield
Museum as a starting point, the group wll examine LGBTQ+ experiences
and histories wthin the town. They wll woth together to design, plan and
deliver 3 unique and creative community events, inspired by this
research.
Chesterfield Canal Trust
Funding for a display board to be erected at Shireoaks Marina ￿lch wll
infom the visitors about 'Dawn Rose,, a Cuckoo boat and tell the story of
goods being caryied on the canal by boat and how the boat peop16 lived.
STAA
Funding ioN%ords 'New Shoots., temi-time vmekty 1.5-hour parentlcarer
and toddler sessions for 1 year {39 weeks). Sessions use nature and the
environment to improve Ihe long-temi prrjspects, leaming. and social
outcome5 of underserved families and very young children
Samaritans
Funding to help Samaritans to continue to offer a serviGe wthin
Mansfield, to secure their premises for Ihe year ahead and allow them to
recruil and train. ensuring a sustainable service.

Responsibiltties and basis of report
As Ihe diarity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the a¢wunt5 in
a￿ordan￿ the requirements of the Charities 2011 {'the ACV.
I report in respect of my examination of the Trusvs a¢wunts Garried out under sectS¢)n 145 of
the 2011 Act and in carying OLrt my examination I have followed all the applirable Directions
given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no mat&rial matters have come to my
attention in connection with the examination giving mè ca4Jse to believe that in any material
respe¢t'.
