## The objects of the CIO are: 

(1) The advancement of education for the public benefit, in particular but not exclusively in the subjects of digital and entrepreneurial techniques and methodologies. 

(2) The relief of unemployment for the benefit of the public by such means as the trustees see fit including assistance to find employment, helping people start up their own businesses or income-generating ventures and the provision of land or buildings at below market or subsidised rents to businesses starting up. 

**Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document** 

(3) The promotion of social inclusion by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society. 

- For the purposes of this clause ‘socially excluded’ means people who are excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of one or more of the following factors: unemployment; financial hardship; youth or old age; ill health (physical or mental); discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, disability, ethnic origin, religion, belief, creed, sexual orientation or gender re-assignment; poor educational or skills attainment; relationship and family breakdown; crime (either as a victim of crime or as an offender rehabilitating into society) or who are within, or have experienced, the public care or penal system. 

The main activities were to: 

1. Connect and engage with organisations that support the targeted beneficiaries and establish working relationships. 

2. W3 found office space for the charity to help us organise its matters and provide a place where the beneficiaries could visit and work with the charity. 

3. We continue to define its fundraising programmes.

4. We are now working on defining our engagement and support for the beneficiaries (supported living for young people). We have engaged with young people car providers and organisations also interest in providing support.  We are looking to create a digital learning space in each property. 

5. One of the key issues have been finding project managers due `to my ill health (Shakeeb Niazi founder). I had a stroke in December 2024.

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

The main activities were to: 

1. Connect and engage with organisations that support the targeted beneficiaries and establish working relationships. 

We have started to work and run events with: 

   - BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT 

   - Institute for Engineering and Technology 

   - University of East London 

   - University of West London 

2. To find homes with 4-6 bedrooms that can be used supported living space for young people. 

3. We are in discussion with a care agency who have trained staff in this area. 

4. To define its engagement and support for the beneficiaries (based on the funds and space available). 

   - Continued developing the education programme and entrepreneur toolkit to be used is such training sessions. 

   - Continued developing workshops, mentoring sessions and general support activities.

## **Section F                     Other optional information** 

The challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic continue during 2024/2023 to impact our all programmes resulted in us suspending them. We decided not to launch any new or incur any new costs and keep the charity moving forward by developing plans and building the underlying content.  We also agreed to review the situation on a regular basis.
