1. Citizenship: New Milton Lions Club have sponsored the Young Citizen of the Year awards and recognises the achievements and contributions to the local community of individuals and teams.

2. Promoting the Voluntary Sector: The development of relationships with the local council, agencies and charitable organisations has continued and the community service and fund raising activities has been maintained. This is aimed at encouraging participation with service events and enabling grants to local charities to help sustain the services provided.

3. Promoting volunteering: Recruitment of new members and volunteers has continued with new members being attracted.
