Activities

Excavating archaeology is the life blood of this science. Thus, the Society is conducting its owns excavations that are advertised and freely open to the public to attend. In addition, the Society also supports both in terms of expertise and financially, community-based archaeology in Kent.

Objects: 3.1 To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Subject Of The Ancient County Of Kentby:3.1.1 Undertaking, Promotion And Publication Of Archaeological Investigationsand Documentary Historical Research;3.1.2 Encouraging A Wider Awareness Of The Richness Of The History Of Theancient County Of Kent Among Members Of The General Public Andfacilitating Wherever Possible Their Involvement In Its Study.3.2 To Further Such Other Exclusively Charitable Purposes For The Public Benefitaccording To The Law Of England And Wales As The Council Shall In Its Absolutediscretion Decide.
