Trustees have regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit when making decisions. **3 Objectives and activities Charitable objects:** To advance the education of the general public in the art of brass band music, in particular within Elland, by the provision of training and public performances of a range of musical works. **Achievements and performance and Financial Review:** Legal formalities to transfer ownership of the assets of the band held by Charity Number 1112614 (unincorporated) were completed in 2019 apart from the bank accounts which are still held by charity number 1112614. Covid 19 restrictions during 2021 have meant that the bank accounts have still not been transferred to Charity Number 1176944. Hence the band as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation did not have any income or expenses in 2021. Transfer of the bank accounts to this CIO are expected to be completed in 2022 and an application will then be made to close the band's previous charity number (1112614) as an unincorporated organisation.
