## **FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31ST MARCH 2025** 

The trustees present their annual report and the financial statements for the year ended 31st March 2025. 

The trustees have prepared the report and financial statements in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice: Accounting and Reporting by Charities FRS 102 SORP and the Charities Acts. 

## **STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT** 

The Rocks Lane Sports Trust (“the Charity”) is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation ("CIO") registered on 31st January 2018 (Charity number 1176931), and is governed by the rules and regulations applicable to a CIO. 

The first trustees were appointed by the founder of the Charity. 

The trustees receive no financial benefit or otherwise for their services to the Charity.  The following trustees served throughout the year: 

Christopher Warren (founder) John Crossley Wright Nassim Lagraa 

## **OBJECTIVES AND INTENDED PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES** 

The objective of the Charity is promoting community participation in healthy recreation in Barnes, Chiswick, Fulham and the surrounding area by providing facilities and resources to enable all people, regardless of age, financial hardship or physical disability, to participate in sports capable of improving health and fitness. 

## **DEVELOPMENT, ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS THIS YEAR** 

The Charity has been dormant to date.

## **1 ACCOUNTING POLICIES** 

- (i) **Basis of accounting** 

These accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention with items recognised at cost or transaction value unless otherwise stated in the relevant note(s) to these accounts. 

The accounts have been prepared in accordance with: 

- a) The Statement of Recommended Practice: Accounting and Reporting by Charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102). 

- b) The Charities Acts 

The charity constitutes a public benefit entity as defined by FRS 102. 

- (ii) **Incoming resources** Voluntary income and donations are included in incoming resources when they are receivable. 

- (iii) **Resources expended** Resources expended are included in the Statement of Financial Activities on an accruals basis and where relevant are stated inclusive of VAT. 

- (iv) **Expenditure on management and administration of the charity** 

Administrative expenditure includes all expenditure not directly related to the charitable activities.
