## Chairs Report 

We have continued to progress since our AGM last  November We still need both male and female Volunteers, we have 1 parent who help us out when they can. We hope to enrol new committee members. We have  updated  our leaflets and keep  our Facebook page up to date. We have 2 young volunteers who earn tempo time credits for volunteering with us. 

October 23- 

11[th] -15 attended, 2 parents and 2 volunteers, the young people made vegetable soup and bread rolls. arts and crafts and music room. 18[th] oct – 12 attended, 2 volunteers and 2 young volunteers, they decorated the youth club for Halloween. Young people decorated biscuits to make them look spooky. some helped to make toastie sandwiches. 25[th] oct – 15 attended,they made pizza wraps, using peppers, mushrooms from fayreshare collection, some made pizza baguettes. Arts /crafts and music room and free play with loose parts. 

November 

1[st] -6 attended, affrican drumming, they made Halloween cupcakes. 7[th] nov – 16 attended – some young people helped to make ham and cheese paninis, they played pin the eye patch on Pudsey bear, arts and crafts, music room and free play with loose parts. 

8[th] nov -15 attended . children in need fundraiser, raffle ,they played games, music room and arts /crafts. 

15[th] nov AGM, drew the raffle for children in need. 

22[nd] nov – 15 attended, arts and crafts ,music room , cooking, some made lemon cakes some made cheese toasties. 

29[th] nov- 16 attended , 2 new young volunteers, music room arts and crafts and they decorated the room with Christmas tree and decorations. 

## December 23 

December -Isolation grant 

6[th] -20 attended ages 3-15yrs -M9 F 7  2 parents -they made pizza baguettes, using food from fayreshare, arts/crafts, music/computer room, they took home food from fayreshare. 

Christmas party-food was paid for by isolation grant. 21 attended- ages 3- 15yrs, 3 parents , all received selection packs and took home food from fayreshare. 



January 24 

10[th] Jan –15 attended, some made pizza baguettes, arts and crafts and music room. 

17[th] Jan-15 attended , arts and crafts ,music room , some made ham rolls , some had pasta and meat balls. February 24 -Isolation Grant 

7[th] Feb -18 ages 3-12yrs   M-10  F -8  3 parents 

We did ham and chesse rolls using fayre share food. We did a group chat and the young people wrote down ground rules, we made soup and bread rolls. 

Music/computer room, arts/crafts. 14[th] feb -10 – ages 3 -11  M -3  F -8 

We made cheese,ham and beans toasties, we had 2 new members, - willow weaving, arts/crafts, mud kitchen, clay modelling. 15[th] feb – 28  ages 3-15 yrs , 8 parents m-12 F -9 Animals interactives workshop, this went very well. P.Newman complained about a football being kicked in the centre. -6  attended 3 from wildmill 3 from broadlands 2 parents, 2 volunteers. 21[st] feb – 19 ages 3 -16 

We had a samba drumming workshop with Steve poretta from strictly rebellion in Cardiff (free) 

The young people enjoyed. He is happy to come back and do another workshop. Arts/crafts . 

We made ham and cheese rolls. 

March 

5.3.24 Debbie, sarah, and nigel, attended food network,  strategy meeting with B.C.B.C 

6.3.24. 

3 parents, 13 children and young people attended, Activites -music/computer room, Arts/crafts, free play with loose parts.Some did lego, Some made pizza baguettes . Some made welsh cakes and took them homewith recipes. Children, young people and parents took food home from fayre share collection. 13.3.24 

15 children and young people, 2 parents attended. Music/computer room, arts /crafts,free play, 1 YP made apple crumbles, 10 YP made blueberry and plain cup cakes, 15 Yp made Pizza wraps. Some took recipes home. 

20.3.24 

15 Y.P 2 parents( volunteers) attended ,1 case study done for food suffiency grant, the children and young people filled out evaluation forms. 



Activities 

27.3.24  (Easter hols) 

12 children and young people attended. 4 -13 y 2 parent volunteers. Activtities; easter arts/crafts, music/computer room, mud kitchen, planting seeds. We had a visit from Zoe Brown (street games Fit and fed programme). She stayed the 2 hours. She was very impressed with the outcome. I put photos on face book. Her title is youth sport and sport system manager for street games. 

A lady bought over strawberry plants for our plant and share event. 28.3.24 

14 children and young people attended, ages 3 – 13 yrs. 3 parents, - circus skills with Organised Kaos. 

Every one enjoyed, some learnt how to do kanga shoes -safely. Some learnt walking stilts and uni cycles. 

They had sandwiches, fruit, and squash in youth club, they all had an easter egg . April 24 3.4.24 

Plant and share event- 14 attended, we had planting seeds, arts and crafts, glitter  tattoos , affrican drumming, we had a raffle and we had a visit from Sian, -manger of welcome break  and her mum came, they donated raffle prizes, they were impressed with the project, I have to contact sian for help for playday event. 

Marie and Georgia from v2c attended with arts and crafts, lauren from food network B.C.B.C attended she was impressed with the project too. 4.4.24 

Trip to Saint Fagans -32 attended. 5.4.24 

Street dance, only 2 attended ,zack did say he hadn’t had time to advertise, this has had an impact , even though Debbie put it on different face book groups. 

May 24 

1st-24 attended ages 3-15yrs -M13 F 11  -they made pizza baguettes, using food from fayre share, arts/crafts, music/computer room, they took home food from fayre share, 

Some took part in the big seed sow from RHS. 12 people had food 8[th] May 19 attended- 10f 9 m arts/crafts, free play, music room , some made pizza baguettes. 13 people had food. 

15[th] May -planting seeds, arts/crafts, music room and free play. 115 attended 7 f ,8M 11 people had food-pasta and pasta sauce and cheese. 



21[st] May - 14 -ages 3 to 12yrs ,  8M 6 f  music /computer room, arts and crafts, we made Pizza baguettes using food from fayre share. 7people had food 

30[th] May- 28 -ages 3 -12  , 14m 14F 3parents, -sandwiches and crisps , 20 had food -Animal interactive workshop. 

31[st] May– 6 attended 4fand 2 m -  we made chocolate crispie cakes with marshmallows and they had pasta and pasta sauce and cheese. June 24 

5th.June – samba drumming/ arts and crafts 14- 9f 5m    7 people had pizza baguettes. 

12[th] June-arts and crafts, made smoothies 21 attended 9f 12 m  18 had ham and cheese rolls and crisps and fruit 

26[th] June -willow weaving,water play ,arts and crafts -14 attended -8f 6m 10 people had pasta and pasta sauce and cheese. July 24 

3[rd] July- arts/crafts ,Freeplay, music room 10 attended -6f 4m 10 people had sandwiches and fruit . 

10[th] July -arts crafts, music room ,free play 17 attended -8f 9 m   16 had pizza baguettes. 

17[th] July -water play ,arts and crafts , 22 attended 11f 11 m  12 people had pizza baguettes Summer programme 24[th] July -picnic in wildflower meadow – 9 attended 5f 4m 25[th] July -den building and arts and crafts -9 attended 5f 4m  9 people had pizza baguettes. 

31[st] July -Im a celebrity event -visitor from street games – 8 attended 5f 3m  they had party food  at the end of the event. August 24 

1[st] August  -circus skills workshop -rhian -9 attended 7f 2m  they had sandwiches and crisps and fruit. 

2[nd] August- street dance workshop-19 attended -15 f 4m 

7[th] August -national play day event -54 attended-  21 f 15 m and adults we had a visit form poppy from national lottery , she was impressed, so pleased to support us with funding grant. 

8[th] August -Animals interactive workshop -20 attended -10 f 4 m and adults. They had ham rolls and crisps. 

9[th] August -Folly farm trip -29 attended 16 adults 10 children 2 carers and I under 2. 

September 24 

Wed 11[th] Sept -15 attended, 4 young people took part in Gawald Project with Mentre lath Bro Ogwr  (Amanda),arts crafts and freeplay. 



Wed 18[th] Sept- 10 attended, we had a visit from Josh B.C.B.C – Prevent and well-being team to find out how many would be interested in football, and 

Jade and Bev from Barod popped in for a Chat. Our young people are too young for their project .
