At Tusome Africa, our mission is to build a strong educational foundation for pre-primary children while developing a district-level scoreboard to assess student progress and teaching quality. Our work encompasses the following initiatives:

1. **School-Based Early Childhood Education:** We focus on delivering accessible, high-quality early childhood education (ECE). This includes refurbishing three ECE learning centers, equipping children with the fundamental skills essential for their academic journey.

**Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)**

2. **Community-Based Early Childhood Education:** We extend our commitment to early learning by reaching underserved communities, offering free, quality learning opportunities for children who face financial challenges accessing private ECE facilities.

3. **Data-Driven Learning Assessment:** Through systematic, curriculum-based assessments, we closely monitor students' progress each term. Our data-centric approach provides insights into learning trends, guiding targeted resource allocation and fostering evidence-based decisions at both the school and district levels.

4. **Developing Foundational Skills for Lifelong Learning:** To build essential skills, we create spaces for children to engage in debate and literacy clubs. This effort includes renovating school libraries, providing access to books, board games, and other resources that support a variety of interactive learning experiences.

Together, these efforts lay a strong foundation for children's success and allow us to support effective educational strategies across the district.

## **Additional details of objectives and activities (Optional information)**

You **may choose** to include further statements, where relevant, about:
